PRYWATNE CENTRUM CHIRURGII Winczakiewicz - Borkiewicz (P.C.C.) is a private surgical clinic In Torun, Poland.

This surgical center had started its activity in 1992 and was organized by two surgeons: dr Jacek Winczakiewicz and Marek Borkiewicz.

Our practice is based on experience gained in many surgical clinics in Poland and abroad. Our selected and experienced staff as well as sophisticated equipment help us to maintain the best medical standards .

We have performed over 10,000 procedures in operation theater in so called "one day surgery" - this means, the patient returns home in a few hours after surgery.

In 1992 we were one of the first centers in Poland which introduced this kind of surgery.

Apart of our medical activity we have been working on scientific fields. Our paper on pathophisiology of venous system won first prise at the Europeas Venous Forum in 2004. We also cooperate for scientific reason with The M.Copernicus University in Toruń.

Jacek Winczakiewicz

Born in 1958.

Diploma of Medical University in Szczecin.

He was working in 1983-1999 in Surgical Clinic in Torun.

Medicine Doctor in the field of hernia surgery.

Practise in Germany and USA.

Wife Jolanta's an ophtalmologyst.

Two children:Katarzyna and Paweł.

A member of Polish Surgical, Phleblogical and Hernia Society.

Marek Borkiewicz

Born in 1954.

Diploma of Warsow Medical Uni- versity.

He was working in surgical clinic in Torun in 1981-1999.

Wife Małgorzata is an ophtalmolo- gyst.

Two children: Marta and Tomasz.

A member of Polish Surgical, Phleblogical and Hernia Society.
